Codes Clerk Typist

Position Summary: Under the direction of the Codes Office Manager, this individual performs a variety of administrative and secretarial duties. This includes, but is not limited to typing letters, memoranda, meeting minutes, answering general questions from the public and communicating concerns and request to the appropriate personnel within the department.

In addition to the above, this individual also assists with various boards and authorities by advertising, scheduling meeting notices and agendas, and recording and preparing meeting minuets.

Required Education/Experience: Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a high school diploma and one year working experience in a clerical setting. Must be proficient in Microsoft word and Excel. Must be detail oriented, with accurate data entry skills. Possess strong organizational and time management skills.
