Hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.  

The department is closed on:  News Years Day, Good Friday, Easter Monday, Primary Election Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, General Election Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving Day, First Day of Buck Season, and Christmas Day.  If there is an emergency on a holiday, the department will respond.

The City of Williamsport’s Department of Street, Parks and Flood Control, consists of 26 unionized employees of the AFSCME Local 2674, and provides many services in the City of Williamsport.
